Loupe Or USB Microscope

A jeweller's loupe is fine for checking trichomes on a dense indica but the tall colas on a sativa are awkward to inspect that way. A cheap USB microscope lets you photograph several spots on the plant, top and bottom, and compare them on a screen without craning over a two metre stem. The ripeness photo library on https://hazesativaseeds.com was shot with a basic sixty times scope, and the images show how much variation there is between the top and the shaded buds on one plant. Checking several sites matters more than the tool you use.
